Don't Forget to Register!

Please be sure to register online (or fill out your registration card and mail it to Sienna). By doing so, you can be notified of upgrades or any new plug-ins as they become available.
 

 

After starting your computer, follow the installation instructions below. You will find both a CD Key and a registration number included with your Starry Night package. When prompted, type in the numbers exactly as they appear.

  • Note: For Windows you need to install QuickTime 3 in order to run Starry Night. See instructions below.

Windows 95/NT

  1. Insert the compact disk into the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Double click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.
  3. Double click on the CD icon.
  4. Double click on QuickTime30.exe to install QuickTime.
  5. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
  6. After the installation is complete repeat the above steps to install Starry Night only this time select Setup.exe.

Alternate way to install on Windows 95/NT

  1. Insert the compact disk into the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Click the Start button and point to Settings.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. The Add/Remove Programs' Properties dialog box appears.
  5. Click Install.
  6. Click Next. The Installer program finds the setup file for Starry Night (Setup.exe). Before installing Starry Night push the Browse button to find the setup file for installing QuickTime.
  7. Select "QuickTime30.exe".
  8. Click Finish.
  9. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
  10. After the installation is complete, install Starry Night.
  11. Repeat steps 1 to 5 to return to the Installer program.
  12. Click Next. The Installer program finds the setup file for Starry Night (Setup.exe).
  13. Click Finish.
  14. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

After the Installer program copies all the files, it creates a menu item for Starry Night in the Start menu.

Macintosh

  1. Insert the compact disk into the CD-ROM drive. A window will appear.
  2. Open the "Read Me First" file for instructions, and late-breaking product and compatibility information.
  3. Double click on the installer icon and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

After all the files are installed, a final dialog box tells you the installation on your hard disk was successful.
